Aquarium Light

It should have been the shirt you brought

as I shivered outside at the picnic,

but it's most likely the you I saw

by the light of the aquarium as we

hugged nude in the otherwise dark room,

maybe 25, handome and grinning at me, far from the

41 we both are. Feeling 41, I wondered "Why now?"

but felt young as 25 again in the next room

when we answered the question.
